1917 (2019)
Recording on Armistice Day 2020, Shea & Dave revisit the recent groundbreaking World War One film, 1917.
We get around the incredible story the film interweaves amongst its seemingly simple premise, with the stories of ordinary people thrown into extraordinary circumstances paramount to the films power. The emotional impact the film had on us is discussed as well as we recall our experience of seeing the film in theatres. And of course, we would be remiss if we didn't talk about the technical feats the film achieved with its unique style, and the incredible behind the scenes insights about just how they did it.
What an achievement. Raise your pints.
